Robert A. Olsen, age 72 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

Robert was born in Delmont, NJ to the late Arthur J. and Madeline (Christiansen) Olsen and was a resident of Vineland for most of his life. He was a graduate of Millville High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Robert retired from the NJ Department of Corrections as a Captain. He was an active and long-time member of the Moose Lodge of Millville and the Belleplain V.F.W.

He was predeceased by his wife Arleen Olsen in 2013.

Robert is survived by his brother Arthur K. Olsen (Ruth) of Dorchester and by his 3 nieces; Kirsten Rapetti (Peter) of Galloway, NJ, Valerie Morgan (Greg) of Vineland, NJ and Andrea Hastings (James) of Dorchester, NJ, along with 5 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.

A private graveside inurnment will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert may be made to the South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter, Vineland.
