Robert Bruce Swanson

November 5, 1959 – August 13, 2025

Robert Bruce Swanson, 65, of Vineland, New Jersey, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 13, 2025, after a period of declining health.

Born and raised in Vineland, Bruce was a man of many talents and passions. As the owner of BBF Construction, LLC, he was everyone's go-to guy for anything that needed fixing. His expertise in all things mechanical and construction-related was unmatched.

Beyond his professional life, Bruce was an exceptional gardener and a gifted cook who loved canning and pickling his harvests. He was a die-hard fan of NASCAR, Formula 1 racing, and the San Francisco 49ers, and he also enjoyed going to concerts and playing a round of golf whenever he had the chance.

Bruce's love for animals was well known, especially for his beloved Golden Retrievers, Fred, Barney, and Kasey, who predeceased him. He was also predeceased by his father, Robert D. Swanson, and his mother, Anne (Bechtold) Sperling.

He is survived by his brothers, Wayne Swanson and Russell Swanson, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will miss him dearly.

A graveside service to celebrate Bruce's life will be held at Siloam Cemetery 550 N. Valley Ave., Vineland, on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM. All are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bruce's memory to the South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter 1244 N Delsea Dr., Vineland, NJ 08360.
