Rose Calareso (DiPrimio), age 102, departed this life peacefully on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Rose was born and raised in Vineland, where she lived her entire life. She married her husband Pasquale (Pat) in 1934 and they built their lifetime home on Myrtle Street and resided there until 1985. Rose loved to cook delicious Italian dinners for her family and grandchildren every Sunday as they grew up. She later moved to Chapman's Mobile Home Park, where she became long time friends with her neighbor, Gloria Micheletti. Rose worked for many years in the local clothing shops, where she became an accomplished seamstress. She loved the bus trips she took with her favorite sister, Betty, and always reminisced about their memorable trip to Hawaii.

Rose was predeceased by her husband, Pasquale, daughter Patricia (Pati) Decker, son Carlo and her many brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Robert Decker, and granddaughters, Melissa Decker and Robin Belfi (Bill) and four great-grandchildren, James, Gavin, Gianna and Gino. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins. Special mention must be given to her most loyal and loving niece, Caroline Dostellio. Rose was blessed with a long and healthy life and her family is grateful to have been able to enjoy the pleasure of her company for so many years.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, May 4, 2018 between 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Avenue, Vineland, with a memorial service to follow at 8:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
