Rose M. Martelli, age 94 of Vineland, passed away on Sunday, October 8th, 2017 in Genesis Millville Center. Rose was born in Vineland to the late Fred and Dora (Barbaccia) Anastasio and was a lifelong resident of Vineland.

Rose was a homemaker and enjoyed keeping a nice home, along with going to the beach and traveling. She especially enjoyed sharing time with her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rose was predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years, Carlo Martelli in 2006. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel Anastasio and Joseph Anastasio and her sister, Connie Ganci.

Survivors include her two loving daughters, Brenda Joyce Chorney and her husband Hank of Buena and Sandra Dortu and her husband Frank of Vineland. Also one brother, Fred Anastasio of Vineland, four grandchildren, Theresa Montana (Ron), Frank Dortu Jr. (Susan), Darren Dortu (Tricia) and Thomas Sole Jr. (Tonya) and six great-grandchildren, Scott, Chad, Matthew, Olivia, Avery and Acadia.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 12th 2017 at 12:00 Noon, from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.  Family and friends may gather on Thursday from 10:30 AM -12:00 PM at the funeral home.
