Ruben Plaza-Roman age 78, of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Ruben was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico to the late Lorenzo and Bienvenida (Roman) Plaza and he lived in Vineland most of his life.  Prior to retirement, Ruben was employed as a Cook for Progresso Foods of Vineland for over 38 years. He enjoyed watching Baseball and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan. He was always concerned about others, especially those in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Rosa Maria (Perez) Plaza of Vineland. Seven children, Myrna Acevedo, Rosa "Mimi" Plaza, Ruben Plaza, Marla Claudio, Maribel Evangelista, Arnaldo Plaza and Arnando Plaza. Also 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, two Sisters, Luz Psaroudakis and Hilda Jimenez, one brother, Samuel Plaza and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be private.
