IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Salvatore E.
Stabile
May 14, 1933 – June 13, 2025
Salvatore Stabile, 92, passed away peacefully at home on June 13, 2025, in Vineland, New Jersey, surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 14, 1933, in the Bronx, New York, he lived a full and vibrant life marked by dedication to family, hard work, and a love for travel and cooking.
Salvatore proudly served his country in the United States Army. After his military service, he built a long and steady career as a truck driver for various local companies. His strong work ethic and reliability were hallmarks of his professional life. Even after retirement, Salvatore continued to contribute to his community as the maintenance supervisor for Berryman's Branch Mobile Home Park.
Family was at the heart of everything Salvatore did. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol (Volk), with whom he shared 68 cherished years. Together they raised a loving family: daughters Denise (Mark) Monaco, Yvonne (Don) Lewis, Michele (Dave) Giglio, and son Brian. He was a proud grandfather to Melissa (Joe) Pardo, Joseph Monaco, and Matthew (Maggie) Lewis, and a doting great-grandfather to three great-grandchildren, Ava and Dominick Pardo, and Silas Lewis. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Catherine Stabile and many nieces, nephews, and many dear friends and neighbors who held him dear.
Salvatore was predeceased by his parents John and Rose (Mascolo) Stabile; his brother James Stabile; sisters Vivian Mistretta, Mary Lanzarotto, and Jennie Dalessio; and his granddaughter Jessica Monaco.
Salvatore had a deep love for animals, especially his dogs (Dukie, Duchess, Mickey, and Mia). His dogs were truly part of the family and always by his side.
He was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan and cherished the many Sundays spent watching games with his son, Brian.
Beyond his professional accomplishments and devotion to family, Salvatore found joy in life's simple pleasures. He had a passion for cooking that brought people together around the table. He loved camping trips that allowed him to enjoy nature's peace and quiet. Travel was another of his great joys—especially the several memorable trips he took to Italy that connected him with his heritage.
Salvatore's legacy lives on through the love he gave so freely and the memories he created with those closest to him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
