Sandra Ann (Redfern) Farrar went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 18, 2013. The third of five children, she was born in Bennettsville, S.C. on November 23, 1954 to the late Lloyd E. Maven and Elease Redfern. At the age of five she moved to Vineland, N.J. where she would be educated in the Vineland school system and graduate from Vineland High School in 1973. During her working career she was employed by various companies including the Vineland State School, Wheaton's Glass and NJ Transit, from which she retired. However, the most important thing to Sandra was her family. She was a loving sister and aunt, a dedicated mother and a nurturing grandmother to her two grandsons with whom she enjoyed spending time and traveling the world. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Louise and her brother, John. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Tamara and son-in-law Nashid and two grandsons, Ya'seen and Mujahid; two sisters, Lorraine and Diane; two uncles, Nathan Redfern and Eddie Maven; an aunt, Lula Harris; nieces Peggy and Linda; nephews, Jeffery, UlarC, Charles and Christopher; and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. The memorial service will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 1-3pm at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home on 1024 East Landis Avenue in Vineland followed by a private interment.
