Sarah Blom Krause (nee Ehrlich) passed on June 27, 2012. She would have been 102 on her next birthday. She was born in Vineland and lived here for her entire life. She led a very active volunteer life as well as being devoted to many community organizations. She served on the board of trustees of Newcomb Hospital for 20 plus years serving as Secretary of the Board. She was active in the Vineland Chapter of the American Red Cross for many years. She served as President of the Hebrew Women's Benevolent Association, her mother and grandmother having been founding members. She had also served as President of the Beth Israel Sisterhood. She had been a lifelong devoted member of Beth Israel Congregation. She graduated from Temple University in 1932 with a degree in musicology. She is survived by her loving husband Theodore Krause. She was predeceased by her first husband Samuel Blom and her daughter, Roberta (Bobbi) Blom. She was predeceased by her brothers Manuel and Samuel. She is survived by two sons, Jerome Blom and wife Linda, David Blom and wife Penny, two Daughters Judie Macon and husband Ron and Linda Krause. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Beth Israel Synagogue, 1015 E. Park Avenue, promptly at 4 PM on Thursday June 28. Visitation will be from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. Burial will take place at Alliance Cemetery. Donations may be made to Beth Israel Congregation, Hebrew Women's Benevolent Association or the charity of your choice.
