Severa Scott Rivera also known as "Ana" was called to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Severa was a ray of sunshine. Born November 9,1940 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico to the late Ambrosio and Juana (Rivera) Scott and she lived in Vineland.

She was the mother of 5 boys and 1 daughter ( Moses Arce, Adrian Arce, Ivan Arce, Rene Arce, Eliezer Arce, Carmen Arce) and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A loving sister and friend. All who loved her dearly. She enjoyed knitting, playing dominoes, and going to church. She was devoted to making sure her children all grew in the walk with Christ. She loved spending time with her family, enjoying the laughter and music all around. Severa "Ana" was a joyful soul. She loved shopping and enjoyed many foods. Although stern yet she was loving in all aspects. Her smile and silly jokes will forever and always be missed. We thank God for the life of our mother who dedicated many years working to provide for us all. She was a pioneer, someone who took on challenges and never gave up, even until her very last breath.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 12:00 PM from Open Doors Ministries Church 308 S. Eighth Street Vineland with Rev. Eliseo Santiago officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather in the church from 10:30AM to Noon on Friday, prior to the service.
