Sonja H. Risko, age 78 of Millville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 28, 2019 at home.

Sonja was born in Vineland  to the late Richard and Erna (Zickler) Risko and was a resident of Millville for most of her life.  Prior to her retirement, Sonja was employed by Bellco Glass for 50 years.  She enjoyed going to the casinos and caring for her pets, especially her dog Kliner.

She was predeceased by her brother Seigfred Risko.

Sonja is survived by her brother Rudolph Risko and his wife Arlene of Mocksville, N.C. and by her sister Lorraine C. Merlock and her husband James of White Pine, TN.  Her 2 nephews; Richie Linden and his wife Karyn and Michael Risko and his wife Megan and by her niece Kim Lee and her husband Ron.  She is also survived by her best friend Gloria Halbruner of Millville, NJ.

Sonja's funeral service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 31st at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, with Rev. Heather Sugden officiating.  Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery.  Family and friends may gather on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 am at the funeral home.
