Stephen F. Coombs, age 58 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at home after an extended illness.

Stephen was born in Vineland to Richard F. and the late Shirley I (Secrest) Coombs and was a Vineland resident for most of his life.  He was an avid Boston sports fan, like his father, who was raised in Boston, MA.  Stephen was employed at Nipro Tubing Glass Co. of Millville for 25 years.  He was a member and sponsor of A.A., and proudly clean and sober for 25 years.

He was predeceased by his brother Mitchell P. Coombs in 2013.

Stephen is survived by his son Justin of Tacoma, WA., his father Richard F. Coombs and his brother Matthew F. Coombs, both of Vineland.  He is also survived by several aunts and cousins in Ohio and Massachusetts.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Sept. 27th at 10:30 am at the Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 1010 E. Landis Ave. Vineland.  Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery; Garden Mausoleum, Vineland.  Viewing will be from 9:00 – 10:30 am at the CHURCH.
