Susan Virginia (Webb) Errickson, age 79 of Franklinville, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013 in Inspira Medical Center, Elmer. Susan was born on October 28, 1934 in Watertown, MA to the late John and Helen (Hewitt) Webb, and grew up in Chevy Chase and Gaithersburg, MD. She studied at the Alexandria School of Nursing in Alexandria, VA. After her graduation, Susan served in the US Army, Nurses Corp, where she met her husband, Willard J. Errickson, Jr., who also served in the military. They were married two months later on June 14, 1957 in Seattle, WA. Together they raised six daughters, living in Seattle and Spokane, WA., Novato and Sausalito, CA., Browns Mills and Hightstown, NJ, Wahiawa, HA, and Erial, NJ. Susan resided with her family in Franklinville, NJ for the last 30 years. Susan was a homemaker and mother, in 1980, she resumed her career in nursing and was employed by Newcomb Hospital in Vineland until her retirement in 1996. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, holding various positions at the church. Susan enjoyed knitting, gardening and sketching. She would teach and pass on her wisdom while visiting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was truly loved and made everyone feel special. She was predeceased by her husband, Willard J. Errickson, Jr. in 2000. Her daughter, Christina Louise Errickson and by her brother, John "Rufus" Webb, Jr. Susan is survived by her 5 loving daughters; Cathy Hildebrand and husband Harvey of Indianapolis, IN, Carol Ann Bolton and husband Paul of Franklinville, NJ, Cindy Butcher and husband Ray of Provo, UT, Cheryl Younessian and husband Ali of Ramona, CA and Conni Miller and husband Mike of Greencastle, PA. She is also survived by her brother, Hugh G. Webb and wife Shirley of Gaithersburg, MD, her 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 9 nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Monday, Dec. 2nd at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 110 Highland Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan, NJ. Viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, and again on Monday from 9:00-10:00 am at the Church.
