Susan L. Merritt, age 62 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Monday August 7, 2017, at Genesis Millville Center, Millville.

Susan was born in Mt. Holly to the late Herbert W. and Ida (Welles) Merritt and resided in Vineland since 2006.  Susan was a longtime member and volunteer with the Vincentown Grange Society.  She was also an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Vineland and a faithful member of their Adult Bible Class.  Prior to her retirement, Susan worked for Medford Twp. public schools in the cafeteria for 13 years and later for 10 years at the Wawa located on Park Ave. and Delsea Dr. in Vineland.  She loved to help others and enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and trips to the Jersey Shore.

Susan is survived by her brother Herbert R. Merritt and wife Christine of Philadelphia, PA.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the First United Methodist Church 700 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, with Rev. Susan Flicker officiating. Family and friends may gather 30 minutes prior to the service in the church. Burial was private.
