Theobald "Ted" Ortner, age 79 of Vineland, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Golden Rehab and Nursing Center, Woodstown. Ted was born in Haarbach, Germany to the late Edward and Ernestine (Hong) Ortner and was a resident of Vineland since 1962. Prior to his retirement, Ted was the owner and operator of O&K Meats of Vineland for 14 years. He was a member of the Diamond Social Club, the Vineland Moose Lodge and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Ted enjoyed going to the casinos and watching sports. He was predeceased by his sister, Ernestine Etchberger. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Rosina (Feiler) Ortner of Vineland. His son, Theobald "Teddy" Ortner Jr. of Vineland and his daughter, Rosemarie Fowler of Vineland and son-in-law Glenn Fowler of Richland. 2 grandchildren, Brittany Fowler and Matthew Fowler, both at home. His sister Anna Wacker and family of Haarbach, Germany. 2 brothers, Edward Ortner (Olga) of Munich, Germany and Sigfrid Ortner (Toni) of Ingolstadt, Germany. Also by several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral service will be held at 8:00pm on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, NJ.
