Thomas Randazzo
Sr.
December 24, 1919 – October 15, 2016
Thomas Randazzo Sr., age 96 of Vineland, entered eternal life on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the NJ Veteran Memorial Home, Vineland.
Thomas was born in Forest Grove, NJ to the late Salvatore and Rosalie (Pellerito) Randazzo and was long-time resident of Newfield, NJ prior to moving to Vineland. Thomas was a proud US Army Veteran who served during WWII. Prior to his retirement, Thomas worked as a machine operator for over 34 years with Newell Clothing Co. of Vineland, and also with many other companies. He was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and a former member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Rose of Lima Church. Thomas also worked as a licensed captain on a deep sea sport fishing vessel, the Seven Seas Yacht out of Cape May, NJ, for over 20 years. It was as a captain that Thomas brought his friends on many successful fishing excursions. He loved to garden, having raised fig trees and enjoyed the fruit of his labor. Thomas also was an avid hunter and was always happy at the hunting club with his buddies.
Thomas was predeceased by his wife, Josephine (Martelli) Randazzo, 2 brothers; Salvatore and Anthony Randazzo and by his 2 sisters; Katherine Randazzo and Fannie Cicchitti.
Thomas is survived by his three loving children, his son Thomas S. Randazzo Jr. and his wife Linda of Magnolia, DE and his 2 daughters; Sister Joyce R. Randazzo, SSJ of Philadelphia, PA and Dolores E. Moore of Lincoln, RI. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great –grandchildren and his sister Lena Rambone of Vineland. Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral services and interment will be private.
