Tomasa “Macia” Montalvo, age 77 of Vineland was born June 24,1948 and entered her resting place with the Lord on Sunday March 22,2026. She was a beloved wife to Isabel ”Toti” Montalvo, a loving mother to her only son Adriell Montalvo and a cherished grandmother to Adriell Javian Montalvo “AJ” who were the light of her day.

Tomasa is preceded in death by her parents Estanislao “Ramon” & Agustina Ramos and her brothers, Israel Ramos, Abraham Ramos, Confesor Ramos and Hector Ramos whom she honored their memory all of her life.

Tomasa was born and raised in Moca, Puerto Rico. She married the love of her life and moved to Vineland, NJ where she made a beautiful life filled with love. Her passion for cooking sewing was passed through the community as she was always busy making dresses or alterations. The Puerto Rican Festival was a joy to her, she worked hard and her contribution to the culture with her food was very important to her. Until her final days she embraced family time, it meant the world to her. Every Easter Sunday we would gather at her home as this was her favorite holiday.

Tomasa as the matriarch of her siblings she leaves behind: Domingo Ramos, Nicolas Ramos, Victor Ramos, Angel Ramos, Awilda Ramos, Gladys Ramos, Judith Ramos, Minerva Ramos & their spouses. Also a host of nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Tomasa's funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 11:00 AM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Wednesday 6:00-8:00 PM, and again on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 AM, prior to her services.
