Itcan
March 25, 1927 – December 26, 2020
Victoria Itcan, 93 of Vineland, passed away early in the morning December 26, 2020 at home under the care of her grandson Denny, and hospice.
Born on March 25, 1927 in Transylvania, Romania, Victoria survived WWII and arrived in Philadelphia with her husband Wasile, and 2 children in 1951. After having a 3rd daughter, and working continuously with her husband, they were able to move to Vineland in 1962. Working factory jobs, Victoria and Wasile were able to start the mobile home park known as Victoria Mobile Homes in 1969, which she remained owner of until the day she passed away. She helped raise 2 grandchildren, John and Denny and continued to work factory jobs at Cleveland partition, and Colonial applicator before retiring in 1989.
Victoria was faithful to the word of God, praying, and reading the Bible every day. She loved attending church, and loved many of the trips and activities that went along with that. Victoria also loved to cook and bake and was excellent! She also loved to garden. She was able to take trips around the U.S.A. such as Arizona and Florida and was able to take several trips back to Romania to visit her homeland, and family in the 70's and 80's.
Victoria was pre-deceased by her daughter Jenny in 1999 and her daughter Vicky in 2007. Also by 2 grandchildren in Florida, Vicky Clayton, and Ted Murphy.
Victoria is survived by a daughter Aorica Itcan of Vineland, a grandson John Murphy of Ohio, grandson and caregiver Denny Itcan of Vineland, granddaughter Laurie Johnson of Mays landing, grandson Steve Dix of Vineland. Great-grandchildren Randy Murphy and Devonie Herdeman both of Ohio, Chelsea Lemos of Florida, Meghan Lemos of Mays landing, Victoria, Steven, Brooke, Faith, and Abigail Dix all of Vineland, and great-great grandchildren Olivia and Harvey Herdeman both from Ohio.
Private services and burial took place December 29, 2020 under the care of Wainwright-Bernhardt funeral home of Vineland.
