Victoriano Vila, age 74 of Millville, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Cooper Medical Center, Camden. Victoriano was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to the late Rosendo and Agustina (Canales) Vila and was a resident of Millville for the past 28 years. He was employed by Bergamo's Farms of Vineland for 10 years. Victoriano enjoyed horse racing, fishing and sharing time with his family. Victoriano is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Mildred (Whittaker) Vila of Millville. 5 daughters; Mildred Whittaker, Claudia Whittaker, Theresa Vila (Timothy), Victoria Vila (Darryl) and Eleanor Vila (Nicholas), all of Millville. 8 grandchildren, son-in-law Angel "Koki" Carrero and 3 sisters-in-law; Betty Whittaker, Anna Whittaker and Diane Gallagher and his brother-in-law Lawrence Whittaker. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27th at 1:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Millville. The viewing will be held on Thursday from 12:00-1:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
