Viola Olanda (Alvino) Fusinatti, age 97 of Newfield, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 15th in South Jersey Extended Care, Bridgeton. Viola was born in Glassport, Pa. one of twelve siblings of the late Henry and Elsie (Thomas) Alvino and lived in Newfield most of her life. In her earlier years, she was a Clothing Worker for most of the Vineland Clothing factories. In the mid 1960's she became the primary cook for all the catering affairs at the Vineland Moose Lodge #434. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, bingo and dining out. Survivors include her son, Wayne W. Fusinatti and wife Sarah Jane of Bridgeton. Step-son, Joseph Venuto Jr. of Newfield. 3 Brothers- Honorable Ernest L. Alvino and wife Diane of Newfield, Joseph J. Alvino and wife Esther of California and Lawrence "Bert" Alvino and wife Flo of Vineland. 2 Grandsons-Richard Squires and wife Nancy of Vineland and Keith Squires and wife Kim of Newfield. 7 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 19th at 11:00 AM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Visitation hours are from 9:00-11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
