Violeta Flores, 59 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at home. She was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Roberto and Celestina (Ruiz) Flores and was a resident of Vineland for most of her life.Violeta was a homemaker and enjoyed nature walks, the Jersey Shore and sharing time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Violeta is survived by her mother, Celestina (Ruiz) Flores of Vineland. Her 2 sons; Jonathan Flores of Vineland, and Luis Angel Santiago Jr. (Regina) of Pikeville, N.C. Her 2 daughters; Marilyn Gomes (Daniel) of Stanton, CA. and Nancy Gonzalez of Atlantic City. Also by 7 brothers, 1 sister and 11 grandchildren. Many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 28, at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. The viewing will be from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
