Virgin Lopez (aka titi)

Born February 13,1959 to the late Angel L. Padro and Durcilia "Dora" Padro passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday January 2, 2024 in Vineland New Jersey.

Titi was loved by many and was known to have a big heart. She helped those she could whenever she was able. She leaves behind a husband, Celso V. Lopez, her son Castro Matos, her daughter Maria Perez, and 5 step children Carol, Annette, Linda, Ralph, and Sammy. She also leaves behind two brothers, Joe Padro and Michael Nuñez, along with her godsister Madi Harris who was also caregiver to Titi. Beloved grandmother to 22 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Virgin Lopez was known for hosting events. She loved to get dressed up and experiment with different make up. She loved going to "La Placita" and the annual Puerto Rican Day parades was a must to attend as she would go to city hall and watch as they raised the Puerto Rican flag. She never missed a birthday as she would always give them her best wishes even if it was at 5am.

She will be deeply missed but she will be at peace at her final resting place next to her mother Dora Padro at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
