Virginia Castro, age 73 of Vineland went to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 28th 20134 in S.J. HealthCare, RMC. Virginia was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to the late Jose Juan and Benedicta (Torrres) Castro and lived in Vineland most of her life. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and sharing time with her family. She was a member of Centro Evangelistico Los Hijos De Dios Church of Vineland. Surviving are nine children, including Benita Castro of Vineland, Yolanda Serrano of Bridgeton and Zenen Pallarez of Vineland and Maria Lopez of Vineland. 10 grandchildren, including Chino Castro, Mandee Castro, Pirito Lopez and Efrain Rodriguez. Also one sister, Lydia Melendez of Vineland and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 3rd at 11:00 AM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Visitation hours are 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home prior to the service.
