Virginia "Ginny" D. Preidt Morrow Workman, age 78, of Vineland, entered into the arms of her Savior on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
Born in Vineland, NJ, to the late Evelyn (Snyder) and John J. Preidt, Sr., Ginny was a proud lifelong resident of the community she loved so dearly. She dedicated her life to caring for others, earning her Master's degree in social work and adolescent counseling. Ginny retired from Inspira Healthcare, where she made a lasting impact through her compassion, wisdom, and steady presence in the lives of so many.
A devoted and active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Vineland, Ginny's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She lived it daily — through kindness, generosity, and a heart that was always open to those in need.
Ginny was deeply proud of her more than 40 years of sobriety, a testament to her strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit. She was always quick to lend a helping hand, offering encouragement, love, and understanding to anyone who crossed her path. She loved to sing and found simple joy in watching hummingbirds, patiently awaiting their return each year as a reminder of renewal and hope.
Ginny loved horses, and although she would have loved to ride as she grew older, she adored watching her granddaughter, Emma, compete in equestrian sports — cheering her on with love, pride and admiration.
Above all else, Ginny cherished time spent with family and friends. Her greatest happiness was found in shared laughter, meaningful conversations, and the comfort of togetherness.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence Preidt, and her beloved cat, Stormy.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Morrow) Burch and her husband Thomas; her son, Scott Morrow and his wife Stephanie; her four cherished grandchildren, Emma Burch and Jessica, Devon, and Dylan Morrow and four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Layla, Annabella, and Natalia — who all brought her endless pride and joy. Ginny is also survived by her two brothers, John Preidt (Veronica) and Robert Preidt, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends. She will also be lovingly remembered by her extended family at Redeemer Lutheran Church and by all who were blessed to know her.
A celebration of Ginny's life will take place on Saturday, March 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2384 E. Landis Ave., Vineland, NJ 08361. Family and friends may gather at the Church from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Following the service, all are invited to join in the luncheon at the Church fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ginny's memory may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Condolences may be shared with the family at www.wbfuneralhome.com
