Willard Charles Woody, 65, of Millville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 12, 2017.

Born in Elmer, NJ, and formerly lived in Vineland, he was a Union Electrician (IBEW 351) for 15 years.  Before working as an electrician, he was a Diesel Mechanic.  Woody, as he was known, in his early years enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. Woody loved family and was known for his laughter and generosity.

He is survived by his estranged wife Shirley Woody; his two daughters, Sherri Lopez (Johnny Lopez) and Leatrice Woody; his four sons, David Woody (Dawn Woody), Kareem Woody, Willard Woody Jr, and Ikeem Robinson. He is also survived by his longtime girlfriend Diana Downs; his eight loving grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Woody was predeceased by his parents Willard Woody and Pearl Garvey. Also by his Foster Parents George Priest and JoAnne Inskip.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18th at 12:00 pm with Pastor Basil Watson officiating, at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. The viewing will be from 11:00-12:00, prior to the service.  Interment will be private.
