It is with sadden hearts, we announce the passing of William "Billy" Frank Rafter Jr. age 70, peacefully on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Complete Care in Linwood. Billy was a loving and caring son and brother.

Billy was born in Vineland to the late William Frank and Helen Dolores (Mohan) Rafter Sr. and grew up in Vineland where he graduated Vineland High School in 1972. After graduation he became successful in business owning a taxi cab service along with a Western Union service. Later Bill moved to Wildwood, where he owned a home with rental units. He managed several units while enjoying the Jersey shore. Bill loved Wildwood, walks on the boardwalk and all the summer excitement. Bill enjoyed buying artificial flowers for all the seasons and making arrangements for his parents, sister and uncle and aunt's gravesites. Bill also enjoyed growing fig trees and Christmas cactus. He wanted to share them with everyone he knew.

In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his sister Linda Karen Rafter.

Bill will be missed by his family and friends.

Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 12:00 PM from Christ the Good Shepherd Parish; Sacred Heart Church 1010 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather in church one hour prior to the Liturgy.
